Inleiding
Er is een Chinees gezegde: "Zonder een complete studie van de Shang Han Lun word je nooit een groot arts."
Je wilt natuurlijk nog betere resultaten voor je patiënten. Nu is je kans!
Voor het eerst in de westerse geschiedenis wordt deze authentieke tekst grondig besproken en bestudeerd – en daarmee zijn geheimen prijsgegeven.
Op dit moment zie je een groeiende interesse in de klassieke medische teksten. Deze interesse is niet alleen in de theorie, maar ook in de klinische toepassing.
Tot voor kort was gedetailleerde informatie van de belangrijkste klassieke teksten alleen verkrijgbaar in het Chinees. Echter, dat staat op het punt te veranderen door deze opleiding!
Bij deze diploma opleiding wordt gebruik gemaakt van de originele Chinese teksten -als een stabiel en uitgebreid fundament- welke in het Engels worden vertaald. "Het water bij de bron is het zuiverste," luidt het gezegde.
Deze unieke opleiding wordt je aangeboden door de Qing-Bai University of TCM in samenwerking met de Shandong University of TCM en het TCM Classics Research Institute.
Shang Han Lun en Jin Gui Yao Lue – de belangrijkste TCM teksten
The Shang Han Lun (“On Cold Damage”) is the oldest surviving, most copiously commented, and most revered Chinese medical text on externally contracted disease. It describes the origin and development of such diseases and their treatment by a highly sophisticated use of medicinals combined in formulae that are skillfully modulated to deal with a vast variety of disease manifestations. The Shang Han Lun originally formed part of the now inextant Shang Han Za Bing Lun (“On Cold Damage and Miscellaneous Diseases”) by the Eastern Han physician Zhang Ji (circa 150-219 A.D.). The sections related to externally contracted disease were reorganized by Wang Shu-He (210-285) to form the Shang Han Lun, and the sections related to other diseases of internal medicine were later re-arranged to form the Jin Gui Yao Lüe (“Essential Prescriptions of the Golden Coffer”).
Opleiding
Tijdens de opleiding zal ook de hedendaagse klinische toepassing van de Shang Han Lun en Jin Gui Yao Lüe worden besproken. Alhoewel deze teksten 1800 jaar geleden zijn geschreven, zijn ze sindsdien uitgebreid toegepast, becommentarieerd en getest. Dit maakt hen een belangrijke bron van bruikbare kennis.
De totale duur van deze diploma opleiding is 50 dagen. Waarvan 30 dagen in Nederland en twee maal tien dagen in China.
De opleiding is modulair van opbouw. Er zijn vier modules. Deze zijn:
1. Shang Han Lun – van april 2009 t/m januari 2010
2. TCM Master Study bij de Shandong University of TCM in Jinan – in oktober 2009
3. Jin Gui Yao Lüe – van maart 2010 t/m september 2010
4. TCM Master Study bij de Shandong University of TCM in Jinan – in oktober 2010
Deze modules kunnen ook los als nascholing worden gevolgd (kijk daarvoor op deze site onder "bijscholingen").
Waarom deze opleiding?
Heel simpel – voor nog betere klinische resultaten. Tijdens de afgelopen drie TCM Master Study reizen naar China is duidelijk geworden dat alle goede artsen een scholing in de Shang Han Lun en Jin Gui Yao Lüe hebben genoten. In samenwerking met Shandong University of TCM en het TCM Classics Research Institute kunnen we een studie aanbieden die deze authentieke medische teksten op niveau behandelen voor een westers georiënteerde praktijk.

Examen
De Shang Han Lun en Jin Gui Yao Lüe worden ieder met een theoretisch tentamen afgesloten.
De gehele opleiding wordt afgesloten met een eindexamen aan de Shandong University of TCM in oktober 2010. Als je slaagt voor dit examen, dan ontvang je een diploma voor dit onderwerp van de Shandong University of TCM.
Wanneer je niet wil deelnemen aan het eindexamen, dan kun je de modules ook los volgen. Je ontvangt dan een certificaat van deelname van de Qing-Bai University of TCM. Het meedoen aan de theoretisch tentamens wordt wel aangeraden.

During the course the classic context as well as the modern clinical application will be explained. Although these texts were written 1800 years ago, they have since then been used, tested and commented on. This makes them a very valuable and useful ‘source of knowledge’.

Exam
Upon completing all the parts and passing the Shāng Hán Lùn and the Jīn Guì Yào Lüè theoretical examination and the final examination at the Shandong University of TCM, a diploma will be issued by the Shandong University of TCM.
If you choose not to participate in the exam, or if you do not participate in all modules, you will receive a certificate from the Qing-Bai University of TCM. However, attending the theoretical exams is highly recommended.
